Richard joined Aldermore in February 2023 from Lloyds Banking Group where he was CEO of motor finance and leasing, which encompassed Black Horse and Lex Autolease brands and online car finance. Richard originally joined Lloyds Banking Group on their graduate finance programme and held a range of senior roles across the Group in insurance, banking and finance. From 2016 to 2021 Richard was also chairman of the Finance & Leasing Association and still sits on the FLA Board.

Richard is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the Motor strategy, and all strategic and business deliverables for the Motor Finance Division, ensuring compliant execution of client business across a full range of products and services.
