Matt Roper has over 20 years’ financial services experience, having started out in auditing and corporate finance roles in his native South Africa. In 2018 Matt joined Close Brothers as Group Chief Credit Officer before being appointed to the position of CEO of Invoice & Speciality Finance, a position he held until August 2023 when he was further promoted to his current role of CEO of the Commercial business.
