Chris started his career as a graduate recruit at Hambros Bank in 1992, joining the vendor leasing team in the early days where wholesale vendor finance was in its infancy. In 1998 Hambros was bought by Societe Generale and SGEF was established in the UK. Chris broadened his experience outside of business technology markets with the addition of vendor programmes in the healthcare and municipal sectors followed by several years developing vendor markets in the energy efficient & renewable sectors. Apart from a 2 year period at ING Lease, Chris spent a total of 25 years at SGEF.

In 2019 Chris moved to the ‘other side’ and joined Computacenter UK, heading up the UK financing activities after two years and then taking on the current Group role in 2023, leading Computacenter’s financing growth across its 8 core operating countries.
