Cat Powell was appointed as Head of Data Insight and Automation at Novuna in March 2024.

Cat has been at Novuna for four and a half years and was previously the Strategic Change Manager. Combining extensive consultancy experience with technical software development skills and a scientific research background, she has provided a unique viewpoint to defining change within the organisation.

Although her career began in research science with a PhD in Molecular Oncology at Imperial, she has worked within the leasing industry since 2014. Initially training as a software developer with Alfa Financial Software, she then moved into a project management role with Alfa - supporting a number of UK asset and equipment finance companies.

As an advocate for Diversity and Inclusion, Cat contributes to Novuna's efforts to support individuals of all walks of life, in particular championing the success and development of female colleagues within the business.
