Karima brings a wealth of technical as well as commercial experience having implemented several large scale business change programmes for major OEM and captive finance organisations from Volkswagen, Mercedes, Volvo and Polestar to name a few. She has held various board level positions and acted as an advisor for start-ups.

She graduated as a Computer Scientist, holds an MBA from Cranfield University and has taken various professional courses both at Harvard and Oxford focused on digitalisation and new technologies.

In her role as Transformation Director at Scania Great Britain, Karima is leading the organisation to drive the shift towards a more sustainable transport solution and preparing the business for electrification, including the extensive Scania GB retail network.

Amongst her many interests Karima has a passion for the gym and is a self-professed car fanatic – previously known as a petrol head!
