A career steeped in the commercial speciality financial services industry spanning over 30 years.

Operating in a broker environment in start-up, scale-up and high growth successfully executing a private equity backed management buyout in 2006. Exiting the business, having negotiated the global financial crisis, in 2015 to a leading UK mutual and then leading their bank subsidiary through to 2018.

Philip then started his own investment and advisory consultancy providing advice and support to drive operational efficiency, access to appropriate debt and capital to support growth and ultimately optimise enterprise value. This is alongside being appointed NED of a number of asset finance and commercial loan businesses.

In 2022 Philip founded the broker hub to address the identified gap between brokers and funders following 12 months of research. The broker hub is a digital first incubator and accelerator platform and service provider for commercial and asset finance brokers and lenders. Delivering best in class technology, practical hands-on executive leadership support, accountancy and HR services as well as compliance support delivered through our proprietary RegTech platform, Compli.
