Welcome from Dancerace

Dancerace is thrilled to sponsor the first edition of the Receivables Finance Connect conference.

After ten years of tepid growth, the UK invoice finance industry is at a turning point.

Banks and lenders agree that our sector needs a new plan for growth, and to tackle the structural challenges that hold IF back. Products that are difficult to explain and manage; competition from other finance products; a dependency on some sales channels; a diminished talent pipeline.

These are complicated, connected problems. Solving them and building a strategy for the future of our industry will take collaboration, diversity and a commitment to action.

That’s what this November’s event offers. A chance for IF providers to come together, talk frankly and take steps towards real change. We’ll see you there!

Shaping the future – reimagining receivables finance for the 2030s

This conference will provide an opportunity to consider what the long-term future might look like, but it will also seek to derive key action points – what we might do now to make that future happen later.

The event will be run in an unconference style, which is a conference where the main content comes from senior delegate interaction in small groups focussed on specific topics – you drive the agenda and themes, the learnings come from your discussions with your peers, and the process is designed to help experienced opinion-formers share and test their views among senior industry colleagues. Its way more interesting than a Powerpoint-fest and the other sectors where we run them, love the experience and outcomes. We are certain you will too.

Themes to be discussed

  • Product (Innovation) How can we design receivables finance solutions to anticipate and fulfil the emerging needs of future customers?
  • Performance (Market Growth) How can we drive sustainable, long-term growth across the receivables finance industry?
  • Perception (Market Education) How can we reshape how SMEs and their advisers understand, engage with, and adopt receivables finance?
  • People (Talent Development) How can we attract, develop, and retain the talent needed to lead the receivables finance industry into the next decade?
  • Partnerships (Channel Strategy) How can we optimise direct and indirect channels to expand reach, deepen relevance, and maximise future market impact?
  • Process (Technology & Customer Experience) How can we harness technology to deliver faster, simpler, and more value-driven customer experiences in receivables finance?
