Greg has an established background in banking and finance, having worked for names such as GE Capital, Abbey National and Close Brothers before co-founding Skipton Business Finance in back in 2001. Currently the CEO of Skipton Business Finance, the asset-based lending division of the Skipton Group, Greg has led the business to unprecedented success, achieving year-on-year growth and overseeing an annual client turnover that today exceeds £1.2 billion.

Greg is a business mentor with SREG, a local enterprise group that provides pro-bono business advice to young ambitious entrepreneurs. Greg is also a member of the UK Finance product services board and is Chairman of The Invoice Finance Group at UK Finance.

He has worked with HM Treasury and British Business Bank, helping develop lending schemes to support businesses throughout the pandemic, and is a director of the Skipton Charitable Foundation, which has donated over £2.5m to good causes since its inception.
