Alex Hughes is the Managing Director at CA Auto Finance UK and Head of European Markets for CA Auto Bank group. He is currently the chair of the Motor Finance Division within the FLA, and an FLA Board member since 2020. He also serves on the board of Eurofinas, the umbrella federation representing consumer credit across Europe.

Prior to being appointed to the role of Managing Director in 2015, Alex spent fifteen years in various commercial roles within the UK business, as well as a period of three years based in the company headquarters in Italy. Before joining FCAAS/CAAF he started his career in the contract hire sector, working for Vauxhall Master Hire for several years in operational and business development roles.

He has an MBA from Warwick Business School, and lives with his family in Berkshire.
