James Brearley joined Pendragon PLC in 1991 shortly after flotation and was a key member of the small team that grew the business from 10 locations in the UK to more than 350 locations in the UK, Germany and the United States.

After 24 years with Pendragon PLC James took up the position of UK CEO and member of the Executive Board of Inchcape PLC who operate as a retailer and distributor of motor vehicles in 36 countries across the globe.

After 6 years with Inchcape James will take up another senior industry position in November 2022.
