Retired from a 41 year career in Motor Finance during 2024, having worked with many blue-chip companies, including Barclays Bank, GE Capital, Volkswagen Financial Services, Jaguar Landrover and Advantage Finance.

He is best known for his 11 years as CEO at VWFS where he led the company through its dramatic expansion in its Corporate banking, Retail, Insurance, Aftersales and Fleet businesses.

Most recently as CEO at Advantage Finance for 5 years, one of the leading specialist non-prime car finance companies, and as Vice Chairman of the Motor Finance Committee in the Finance and Leasing Association.

Since retiring in early 2024, he has taken up Non-Executive Director roles at S&U Plc, a specialist lender in Asset Finance and Motor Finance; Hodge Bank, who serve the Mortgage and Savings market along with Asset Finance and Motor; and Citygate Automotive, who have 18 car dealerships across north west London and beyond.
