Isak Bengtzboe Isak is the Chief Policy & Legal Adviser at Eurofinas, the European trade federation representing the specialised consumer credit providers in Europe.

As a federation, Eurofinas brings together associations from across Europe that represent finance houses, specialised banks, captive finance companies of car, equipment, etc. manufacturers and universal banks. In his role, he takes the overall lead on all matters relating to legal and regulatory developments affecting consumer credit providers in the European context. He has over a decade of experience in the field of retail financial services and consumer credit with a broad horisontal focus on regulatory and legal matters of concern to the wider retail lending industry.

In July 2024, Isak was appointed as a member in the EBA’s Banking Stakeholder Group. Isak is a Swedish national and studied law at Stockholm University, where he specialised in European constitutional and internal market law.
