After five years at Burlington Consultants and Deloitte advising a wide range of Private Equity firms and large corporates (including Microsoft and BT), in 2006 Richard joined Cabot Square Capital, a Private Equity firm specialising in investing in and building lending and asset management platforms.

Richard is a Partner and member of Investment Committee, and over the last 18 years has led a number of Cabot's investments in the specialty lending space with a key focus on the SME, Asset Finance and Leasing sectors. Richard currently sits on the board of three Cabot investee companies in Propel, Simply (both in the SME lending space) and MSP Capital (a specialist property finance business).

Previously Richard has been a board member and successfully exited investments in LDF, Asset Alliance, Centric Commercial Finance, 5D/Interbay and Storage King.
